The Housing Consortium of Everett and Snohomish County advocates for resources to help every member of our community have a safe and affordable home.
In Snohomish County -
At the local level, we are working with elected officials and stakeholders throughout the community to implement Housing Within Reach, a plan for significantly increasing the amount of affordable housing in the next 10 years. The plan contains a bold vision with concrete steps for achievement that will engage the public and private sectors in affordable housing production. We are tracking our progress towards each of the 12 action items identified in Housing Within Reach.
In Washington State –
We work with State Legislators and affordable housing advocates to promote legislation that will support the development, operation and preservation of affordable housing in Washington.

In the Nation –
We monitor Federal housing legislation and support adequate funding for HUD programs, including the Section 8 voucher program. Along with the National Low Income Housing Coalition we support permanent funding for the National Housing Trust Fund.
