An Affordable Housing Action Plan for Snohomish County Members of the Housing Consortium present the Affordable Housing Action Plan, followed by a response to the Plan by County Executive Aaron Reardon. All participants will be invited to help set the course for implementation of the Plan.

  • Design of Housing for Livability, Community Acceptance and Longevity
    Making affordable housing an integral part of the community.

  • Manufactured Housing Community Preservation
    Hear about strategies being used to preserve manufactured housing communities.

  • The PSRC’s Housing Education and Technical Assistance Program - Helping Cities Achieve Their Housing Goals
    Update on the Puget Sound Regional Council’s housing program.

  • Green Building—Experiences in Designing and Applying Green Building Standards to Affordable Housing Projects

    How have housing first programs achieved success with chronically homeless people?

    State Legislators from Snohomish County give their unique perspectives of how housing fared during the 2008 Legislative Session.

     

    David Bley, Director of the Pacific Northwest Initiative of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, shares information about the Gates Foundation’s new initiatives for housing.

The Everett Events Center is located in downtown Everett at the corner of Broadway and Hewitt.
Either the Broadway exit or the City Center exit of I–5 provide direct access.

Parking for the conference is available at the County Parking Garage, one block southwest of the Events Center at Wall and Oakes Streets. The cost is approximately $8.
