Membership in the Housing Consortium of Everett and Snohomish County provides an opportunity to join a growing number of nonprofit and for-profit organizations working together on affordable housing issues in Snohomish County. Members are non-profit housing developers and housing service providers. Each member organization sends a representative to monthly Board meetings of the Housing Consortium. Members maintain a voting seat on the Board.

 

Arc of Snohomish County

The Arc - Advocates for the Rights of Citizens with developmental disabilities - provides assistance and education to families to promote greater self-reliance and advocacy skills. The Arc programs are designed to foster inclusion and self-advocacy among its members with developmental disabilities.

 

Archdiocesan Housing Authority

The Archdiocesan Housing Authority (AHA) provides a continuum of care for homeless and low-income persons. AHA provides more than 1,850 housing units in 39 programs, serving individuals, families, seniors and persons with special physical and mental needs throughout Western Washington.

 

Bridgeways

Bridgeways serves adults in Snohomish County with chronic mental illness. Services include: case management, medication services, living skills training, socialization activities, support groups, prevocational training programs, employment assistance, and housing assistance.

 

Catholic Community Services

Catholic Community Services' Snohomish County Family Center is a multi-service center that offers case management for chronically homeless people living with HIV/AIDS, recovery services and counselling for chemically dependent mothers and other vulnerable people in our community, as well as other family-building services.

Cocoon House provides youth housing and other critical community based services to youth, caregivers, families and the community, in order to alleviate youth homelessness, address and prevent child abuse and neglect, and strengthen families and the community.

Compass Health

For 100 years, Compass Health has been providing hope and treatment for children, families and adults who suffer from mental illness. Their goal is to help people stay in their homes and in their communities, surrounded by family and friends who can support them during difficult times. For over 60 years the Everett Housing Authority (EHA) has been committed to serving the housing needs of the people of Everett. EHA owns and manages nearly 1000 units of housing for low and very-low income families and provides rental subsidies for another 2300 families.

 

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit homebuilder dedicated to creating decent, affordable housing for families in need. The goal of this interfaith Christian based ministry is to eliminate poverty housing. Habitat builds and renovates homes using as much volunteer labor and donated materials as possible.

Interfaith Association

The Interfaith Association of Northwest Washington provides housing and programs that address the needs of homeless and low income families, and works to increase united action among faith groups. Interfaith Family Shelter provides housing while assisting families to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
