The strength of the Housing Consortium comes from its diverse, active members and associate members who are passionate about affordable housing in our community.

Nonprofit Board Member Organizations

Members are non-profit housing organizations that develop, construct, manage, operate or own affordable housing for low-income persons. Member organizations maintain a voting seat on the Board of Directors and the person designated as the primary representative of a member organization is automatically conferred board member status.

Catholic Community Services Snohomish County Family Center is a multi-service center that offers case management for chronically homeless people living with HIV/AIDS, recovery services and counselling for chemically dependent mothers and other vulnerable people in our community, as well as other family-building services.

Their goal is to help people stay in their homes and in their communities, surrounded by family and friends who can support them during difficult times. Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County (DVS), is a private, nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter and comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and their children. DVS is committed to affecting social change by working directly with victims of abuse and the community to eliminate domestic violence.

The Everett Gospel Mission was established in 1961 and is now the largest Faith-Based organization to the homeless in Snohomish, Skagit, San Juan and Island counties.  To provide dignity and compassionate care, EGM offers free meals, housing for men each night at the Men’s Shelter and for women & children each night at the Women and Children’s Shelter, as well as reduced rental units for single women at Lydia house.

For over 60 years the Everett Housing Authority (EHA) has been committed to serving the housing needs of the people of Everett. EHA owns and manages nearly 1000 units of housing for low and very-low income families and provides rental subsidies for another 2300 families.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit homebuilder dedicated to creating decent, affordable housing for families in need. The goal of this interfaith Christian based ministry is to eliminate poverty housing. Habitat builds and renovates homes using as much volunteer labor and donated materials as possible.

Housing Authority of Snohomish County

The Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) owns and manages more than 2000 units of subsidized and affordable housing. HASCO also directs dozens of innovative programs that enhance the quality of people’s lives and creates a more strongly knit community.
